Agricultural Service Engineer Position Overview

Servicing and repairing agricultural machinery is a critical function in the agricultural industry. As an Agricultural Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of agricultural equipment, diagnosing problems, and implementing repairs in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and repairing agricultural machinery in the workshop and on-site at customer locations
  • Diagnosing problems accurately and implementing effective repairs
  • Assembly and pre-delivery inspection (PDI) of new machinery
  • Utilizing manufacturer's computer software and manuals for problem-solving
  • Maintaining a safe and professional work environment, adhering to Health & Safety regulations
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Experience working on agricultural machinery
  • Good working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Fendt, Valtra, or JCB specific knowledge/experience
