Role of the Field Service Engineer / Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Technician / PSV Technician / Fleet Engineer / Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / LGV Technician / Heavy Vehicle Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Mechanic / HGV Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter / GSE Engineer / Ground Service Equipment Mechanic / Hydraulic Engineer / Mobile Agricultural Mechanic :
Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to customer fleets, HGVs, Trailers and GSE Equipment.
Taking care of general vehicle maintenance duties including but not limited too; Ensuring that customer fleets are safe, legal, and fit for duties at all times maintenance inspection of heavy vehicles,
To carry out preventative maintenance inspections to the highest standard ensuring all vehicles are safe and legal and fit for duties,
Prepare all vehicles to the highest standard for MOT to ensure minimum number of failures.
Service and maintain all vehicles to the highest standard whilst ensuring the vehicles are operating safely and compliant with legislation.
Maintaining the Ground Service Equipment, as well as hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical repairs.
Complete job cards, maintenance records and associated paperwork with good work practice.
Knowledge of the use / operations of all automotive equipment and testing /troubleshooting equipment.

~ Knowledge of PSV/HGV / Plant or Agricultural maintenance
~ Electrical circuits and systems knowledge
~ Knowledge of engineering procedures and Health & Safety legislation
~ Inspection of vehicles for the scheduled maintenance
~ Experience on Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulics is required
~ Clean DBS
~ Full UK Driving Licence
