Teaching Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Brickwork Educator to join our team at DN Colleges Group. As a Brickwork Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching on a range of further education courses, ensuring each student reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and Educate: Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students, promoting a love of brickwork and a desire to learn.
- Lead and Innovate: Take charge of the development of a specific subject area within the curriculum, guiding your students and peers with your industry expertise.
- Manage Programmes: Lead and coordinate course teams, taking ownership of a study programme from planning to delivery.
- Engage in Research: Undertake significant research and consultancy activities to ensure our curriculum remains cutting-edge and relevant to industry needs.
- Master Classes: Share your advanced knowledge through master classes, enriching the learning experience for our students.
- Assess and Support: Utilise appropriate assessment methods to evaluate student performance, ensuring learning and teaching goals are met and recorded accurately.
- Course Verification: Oversee the verification process to maintain the highest standards in course delivery and assessment.
Requirements:
- A deep passion for brickwork and a commitment to excellence in education.
- Proven experience in brickwork, with a strong background in teaching or industry.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate course teams.
- A creative and innovative approach to teaching, with the ability to inspire students at all levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with students, staff, and industry professionals.
- A relevant teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one) and experience in curriculum development are highly desirable.
