Job Opportunity

Mencap is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Mansfield. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.

You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support, and helping individuals to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities
  • Assisting with daily activities, such as personal care and household tasks
  • Building meaningful relationships with individuals and their families
  • Supporting individuals to access community resources and activities
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure high-quality care

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities
