Learning Support Staff

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Learning Support Staff member to join our team at a specialist school in Weymouth, providing education and care for children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).

Annual Salary: £22,800

About the Role:
  • Support pupils with PMLD to engage with tailored learning activities, promoting their physical, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement individual education plans and care plans.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel safe, happy, and motivated to learn.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or adults with PMLD, SEN, or complex needs.
  • Willingness to assist with personal care and medical needs as required.
