We're recruiting for a Head of Financial Strategy and Analysis to join us on a 12-month maternity cover. As a key member of our Suburban BTR Executive Team, you will be responsible for leading the financial strategy and analysis function, ensuring high-quality analysis, planning, and reporting.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and maximize profitability.
  • Lead the production of key business financial models, ensuring they remain accurate and deliver the analytical capabilities a fast-moving business requires.
  • Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of financial systems to be used for the appraisal of the divisions' development schemes, in accordance with the development assumptions approved by the Board.
  • Provide support to the development and new business teams with their scheme and project appraisals, through financial analysis and supply of appropriate models.

Requirements

  • Technical financial and commercial knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of different corporate and tax structures employed in real estate finance.
  • Expert-level knowledge of financial analysis and reporting.
  • Detailed understanding of the drivers of profitability.
  • Experience in the real estate industry.
  • Specific development and/or housing experience in a similar role desirable.
  • Delivery-focused and ability to plan and execute projects across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Outstanding Excel, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
