Job Title: Head of Financial Strategy

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our finance team as the Head of Financial Strategy. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures to drive business growth and deliver our corporate strategy.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support our business objectives.
  • Lead and manage the finance team, focusing on operational efficiencies, robust controls, and team development.
  • Oversee financial reporting, including management/shareholder packs, external stakeholder reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Optimise cash flow and manage financial risk through effective strategies and solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and oversee the production of statutory accounts and audits.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align financial goals with our business strategy and deliver actionable insights.
  • Leverage technology (e.g., Power BI) to enhance reporting and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years in senior financial leadership.
  • Expertise in financial reporting, technical accounting, and variance analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead large finance teams and drive transformational change.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and communication abilities, with experience delivering high-quality reports to senior management.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and tools like Power BI is desirable.
  • Ideally experience with Joint Venture accounting or Private Equity reporting in Real Estate, high volume consumer businesses or related sector.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £95,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits that include a comprehensive pension scheme and excellent opportunities for professional development.
