About Pro Talent

Due to growth within our organization, we are recruiting for an experienced professional to assist our Partners and Manager in delivering statutory audit and accounts preparation services. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in both audit and accounts with a focus on the Charity/Not-for-Profit and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and deliver audit/accounts assignments for Charity and Not-For-Profit sector, Limited Companies (including groups), Sole Traders and Partnerships from various systems including cloud-based software and incomplete records
  2. Prepare draft corporation tax and business tax computations including supporting analysis
  3. Plan audit assignments, including budgeting and use of analytical review
  4. Take the lead and assist on audit assignments
  5. Supervise, delegate and review audit work of juniors
  6. Deliver information and communicate with clients in a timely and effective manner
  7. Assist the Manager and Partners on ad-hoc project work
Requirements
  1. ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified with at least 3 years of practice experience (qualification by experience will be considered)
  2. Experience in the charity and Not-for-Profit sector or a desire to learn and become involved in this sector
Attributes and Skills
  1. Able to multitask and prioritise a number of jobs, whilst demonstrating excellent time management skills to ensure all deadlines and expectations are met
  2. Ideal candidate will have experience leading and/or assisting on audits including; planning, preparation and completion (training will also be provided)
  3. Strong technical knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards for Auditing
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail
  6. Display commercial awareness
  7. Strong interpersonal skills
  8. Good experience using a variety of bookkeeping software, including cloud-based platforms such as Sage, QuickBooks and Xero
Benefits Package
  1. Estimated salary range: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience
  2. 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing annually to a maximum of 25 plus bank holidays
