**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated BSL Education Support Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school. As a BSL Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching staff and ensuring that all children receive the guidance they need to succeed.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of all pupils.
  • Support the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, especially those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Monitor student progress and communicate findings with the teaching staff.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and foster a productive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential, as well as having BSL level 2 at least.
  • A proven ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Experience supporting with BSL.
  • A proactive approach to learning and adapting to the needs of the classroom.
