BSL Education Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified BSL teaching assistant to work with a student in a class setting.
The ideal candidate will be able to quickly build a rapport with the student and provide dedicated support throughout the year.
The role involves translating lessons through BSL and providing additional support to complete their work.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one support to the student in a class setting
- Translate lessons through BSL and facilitate the student's understanding
- Assist the student in completing their work
- Build a positive relationship with the student
- Qualified teaching assistant qualification or equivalent
- BSL qualification
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and show resilience
- Driving license (preferred)
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service or prepared to apply for a new one
