About the Role

The Lubrizol Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Product Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive product line strategies to drive the long-term financial health of the product line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the European Driveline electrification strategy for passenger car, commercial vehicle, and off-highway.
  • Manage assigned product line(s), including ensuring volume forecasts are consistent with market trends, developing pricing strategies that optimize profitability, and monitoring product margins.
  • Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize product portfolio, profitability, and market share.
  • Assist the Commercial organization on contract management with valuable competitive product, pricing, and margin analysis.
  • Provide inputs for the annual profit plan targets setting (volume, revenue, margin) and lead its execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in combination of Sales, Marketing, technology deployment, or Product Management roles.
  • Business Acumen: Good understanding of the financial aspects of the product line, including pricing, margins, and profitability.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, sales, and marketing.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with a variety of stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and senior leadership.
  • Market Understanding: Strong understanding of the relevant markets, including customer needs, competitor analysis, and market trends.
  • Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of the technical aspects of the products they are managing, including chemical composition, applications, and manufacturing processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to assess and interpret market and financial data and use it to make informed decisions, including tracking and analyzing product performance metrics and market trends.
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects. Capable of independent action, takes initiative.
