About the Role

We're on the hunt for a talented Chef to join our team at Lounge in Rochdale. As a Chef, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to our customers' specifications. If you're passionate about real cooking and have a positive attitude, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook dishes to our menu specifications
  • Work in a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Follow the lead of your Head Chef to ensure all prep and par is completed for each shift
  • Help every customer leave happy with their dining experience

What We're Looking For
  • You may already have some kitchen experience as either a Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant/Commis Chef, or this might be something brand new to you
  • Driven and relentless, with a positive can-do attitude
  • Good communication skills and a team player
  • Self-motivated to work at pace, with limited supervision
  • Strong knowledge of best practice when it comes to all things allergens, kitchen essentials, and food safety
