Role Overview
This role is responsible for enhancing SPAR stores by bringing knowledge, skills, and great customer service as a Butcher Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and speak to customers, providing advice, answering questions, accepting orders or payments, and offering helpful advice.
- Order and manage stock, including stock taking.
- Effectively develop and manage a small team.
- Ensure food safety procedures are adhered to within the butchery department.
- Maintain company standards in window display and upright counter display.
- Manage staff rotas.
- Control waste.
Requirements
- Managerial or supervisory experience is essential.
- To be enthusiastic, committed, and self-motivated.
- A 'can-do' attitude to challenging situations.
- A flexible approach to working hours.
- Thorough knowledge of HACCPS.
- Proven experience in a butchery environment.
