GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to work in schools in Ashington. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to students in KS1 and KS2.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Support students with their learning, ensuring they understand and complete tasks.
- Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Supervise students during break times and on school trips.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Primary Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- A strong understanding of the primary school curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
