Care Team Supervisor

Main Responsibilities:

As a key member of the Cinnamon Care team, the Team Leader will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents. This will involve working closely with the Deputy Manager to coordinate the resident assessment process, ensuring that all relevant information is gathered and integrated into the care plan.

The Team Leader will also be responsible for delivering and managing the medication administration process, ensuring robust auditing procedures are in place. This will include identifying any training needs and ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide the best possible care.

Additionally, the Team Leader will be responsible for recruiting and managing the care team, ensuring that contracted hours are efficiently managed and recruitment needs are monitored on an ongoing basis. Regular communication with family members will also be a key aspect of this role.

Requirements:

  • NVQ 3 essential, NVQ 4 in Care and Registered Managers Award or QCF Level 4 Diploma in Management (desirable)
  • Two years experience in long-term care or similar industry
  • Experience of planning, implementing, evaluating and clearly documenting care delivery
  • Experience of working with older people
