Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to join our team at Prax Upstream. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's environmental objectives are met during exploration, appraisal, development, operations, and decommissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assure compliance with environmental statutory provisions throughout the full life-cycle of Prax Upstream's onshore and offshore operations
  • Prepare and administer PETS Applications, SAT Application Types, and Permit preparations
  • Manage the EEMS database, set OSPAR EEMS requirements, and prepare OPEPS, Environmental Impact Assessments, and Environmental Statements
  • Propose and monitor against annual environmental targets and objectives
  • Liaise with other West of Shetland Operators to exchange environmental information and lessons learned
  • Lead environmental survey responses and consultations
  • Monitor changes to environmental legislation and advise Prax Upstream personnel
Requirements
  • Technical degree or equivalent with relevant application to the oil and gas industry
  • Chartered Member of a professional environmental body
  • Experience of UKCS field development and knowledge of associated reporting and operational requirements
  • Proven environmental leadership experience
  • Knowledge of current environmental indicators and techniques for enhancing EH&S performance
