About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist Network Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and delivering a high-quality psychology service to patients across our trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with multi-professional teams to provide a psychology service to patients, including assessment, therapy, and consultation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues across the trust to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of service policies and procedures, ensuring they are evidence-based and aligned with best practice.
  • Provide supervision and training to junior staff members, promoting their professional development and growth.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in applied psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
  • Formal training in supervision of other psychologists or equivalent experience.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Experience of working in a similar role, with a strong understanding of service development and delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
