An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housing Management lawyer to join our team in Manchester, with a focus on client contact and ongoing training and support.

Our Housing Management department is a leading team in the country, with a strong reputation for delivering seamless, sector-focused advice across a wide range of legal areas. We act for a large number of Registered Providers of Social Housing on all aspects of their housing functions, including housing conditions claims, possession actions, antisocial behaviour, leasehold queries, and policy and procedure work.

This role is ideal for someone with a talent for housing law, ambition, and a real interest in the social housing sector. You will be expected to have built up enough experience to manage a housing conditions claim, both pre-litigation and litigated files, with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defending housing conditions claims
  • Developing and fostering relationships with clients
  • Managing a portfolio of housing conditions claims, both pre-litigation and litigated files
  • Preparing witness statements for use at trial
