About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Nursery Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and a commitment to providing a nurturing environment for young children.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the daily care and supervision of children, engaging them in educational and play activities, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the daily care and supervision of children
  • Engage children in educational and play activities
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff
  • Support the Nursery Manager in daily operations
Requirements

Minimum 3 months experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting, or a recognised childcare qualification (or be working towards one)

  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to drive is preferred
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles
  • Leadership qualities to guide and supervise children effectively
