About the Role:

As a UKAS Technical Assessor, you will play a key role in evaluating NDT inspection and testing activities, assessing conformity associated with recognised NDT techniques, and ensuring compliance across diverse industrial applications.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Preferably HNC or equivalent in engineering. Extensive experience can be a substitute for formal qualifications.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Expertise in NDT processes, technical standards, and regulatory requirements; familiar with UKAS accreditation procedures, report writing, and relevant ISO standards.
  • Experience: Proven in-depth knowledge and experience in NDT processes within engineering, manufacturing, or inspection.
  • Professional Standing: Membership in relevant professional bodies, such as The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing, is advantageous.
