Ecological Team Leader Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our ecological team in Birmingham. This exciting opportunity will involve managing and supporting a diverse workload, delivering high-quality support for private and public-sector clients across the UK, including infrastructure and renewable energy projects.

You will be responsible for growing long-lasting client relationships, generating new business, and overseeing financial planning and management. You'll also project manage a wide and varied workload, supervise field staff, and have technical oversight and sign-off on project output.

The ideal candidate will have experience in ecological impact assessments, mitigation design, and implementation, as well as strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage the ecological team in Birmingham
  2. Manage and support a diverse workload, delivering high-quality support for private and public-sector clients across the UK

Requirements
  • Experience in leading and managing teams
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience in ecological impact assessments, mitigation design, and implementation
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including:
