Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Foot Engineer to join our team at Wates, a leading construction company. As a Mobile Foot Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to the buildings plant, equipment, and systems.

About the Role

The primary focus of this role will be to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and responding to site emergencies. You will work closely with our clients to deliver high levels of customer service and ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to the buildings plant, equipment, and systems.
  • Respond to site engineering emergencies on behalf of our clients.
  • Record all reactive and PPM tasks accurately and in detail using report sheets and ensure signed by the client weekly.
  • Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks conducted to provide safe working practices.
  • Supervise subcontractors effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant qualifications and experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, be able to effectively multi-task, work to tight deadlines, and problem solve on the job. Additionally, you will need to promote health & safety excellence at all times.
