Job Title: Weekend Care Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and kind individual to join our team as a Weekend Care Assistant. As a Weekend Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication management, and mobility support.
  • Assist clients with their daily routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, as required.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, engaging them in activities and conversations.
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and support, including medication administration and any incidents or concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with other care staff to ensure seamless care and support to clients.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care and support, preferably in a home care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if required).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
