Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Data Processing: Accurately process purchase invoices and time sheets, ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
  • Payment and Receipt Management: Process payments and receipts efficiently while ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial protocols.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Conduct comprehensive bank reconciliations involving multiple currencies.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Accurately reconcile balance sheets.
  • Supplier Communication: Communicate with suppliers to resolve any queries.
  • Month-End Close: Oversee and run the month-end close process.
  • Data Entry and Maintenance: Accurately enter and maintain data within the Canon system.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist with the preparation of VAT returns, Intrastat, and EC sales lists, as well as cash flow forecasting and ad hoc analysis.
  • Prepayments and Accruals: Prepare and process prepayments, accruals, and month-end journals.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Qualifications: Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and experience using SAP software.
