Academy Manager - Financial Planning

Location: Whiteley

Salary: Basic salary up to £70,000 + bonus and company benefits

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our structured training program for aspiring financial planners. As the Academy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of Trainee Financial Planners.

About the Role

The Academy Manager will be responsible for designing and continuously improving a structured training curriculum covering both technical and soft skills. This will ensure alignment with industry regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development & Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive training program that meets the needs of our Trainee Financial Planners.
  • Trainee Management & Mentorship: Provide ongoing support and mentorship to our Trainee Financial Planners, ensuring they meet their milestones and achieve their full potential.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal departments and external bodies to ensure the program's alignment with strategic priorities and accreditation standards.
  • Compliance & Qualification Management: Ensure that our Trainee Financial Planners meet professional standards and are on track for necessary certifications.
  • Performance & Reporting: Monitor and report on program effectiveness using key performance metrics.
  • Recruitment & Expansion: Support recruitment efforts and expand the academy as needed to accommodate the growing demand for financial planners.
What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or financial services.
  • Level 4 Diploma (DipPFS or equivalent preferred).
  • Proven experience in training, mentoring, or managing financial planners or similar professionals.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and industry qualifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A passion for developing and nurturing talent.
