Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplinary team as an Eating Disorder/Crisis Liaison mental health nurse. The post holder will be responsible for leading the provision of support for children and young people with eating disorders within our crisis service.

Main Duties
  1. To lead and ensure there is effective provision of support for CYP with an eating disorder within the Crisis Service.
  2. To work across both the Crisis and Eating Disorder CAMHS services and other agencies to ensure that CYP have high quality effective interventions, with the role providing an effective interface for communication between the ED team and Crisis Team.
  3. To offer robust mental health support to children and young people with mental health concerns, specifically CYP with eating disorders and co-morbidity as required.
  4. To participate on the CYP ED team's duty rota and undertake emergency assessments when and where required.
  5. To support the development of care pathways, and signpost young people to appropriate mental health services.
  6. To provide consultation, advice, training, and support both internally and for other agencies.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including 27 days annual leave, access to tailored individual and trust-wide learning and development, and a lease car scheme.
