Role Overview
">The Academics' special school in Surrey offers a unique opportunity for an Aspiring SEN Teacher LSA to support secondary-aged pupils with a wide range of learning and behavioral needs.
">In this role, you will be working closely with the teaching team to provide specialist support and create a therapeutic environment that meets the individual needs of our students.
">As a highly motivated and empathetic professional, you will have a passion for working with neurodiverse children and young people and be committed to helping them achieve their full potential.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Providing one-to-one support and small group sessions to students with complex needs.
- Developing and implementing personalized learning plans to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Working closely with the teaching team to plan and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Collaborating with other professionals such as therapists, psychologists, and counsellors to provide comprehensive support.
- Contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity and promotes social-emotional learning.
Requirements
">- Degree in Psychology or related field (desirable).
- Experience working with neurodiverse children and young people.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with students, teachers, and other professionals.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Salary and Benefits
