Senior Business Analyst

Are you a seasoned business analyst looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for process improvement and change management? We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Edinburgh, working on a high-profile project in the Securities Services division.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a deep understanding of business processes and systems. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions to drive process improvement and change. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing complex business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing recommendations for change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elicit requirements from stakeholders through interviews, process analysis, and requirements workshops
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources to develop a deep understanding of business needs
  • Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional business requirements
  • Work independently and with users to define requirements under the direction of project managers and senior business analysts
  • Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates and standards
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience in a BA/PM role
  • Preferred experience in SSv or MSS
  • Required project lifecycle and management experience
  • Preferred detailed analysis experience in complex financial services
  • Required experience in complex analysis and solution mapping, as-is process analysis, and working with technology partners
  • Required experience working with JIRA, Agile development sprints
