We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Bartender to join our team at Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard, one of London's most luxurious and exclusive cocktail bars. As a Head Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a seamless and exceptional guest experience, elevating the bar's reputation, and driving sales through innovative beverage programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of bartenders to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Develop and implement beverage programs that showcase our luxury hotel's unique offerings and exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage inventory, maintain stock rotation, and ensure seamless liquor service.
  • Train and mentor bar staff to enhance their knowledge and skills, driving competition success and menu development.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Bars and Restaurants to drive business growth and maintain high standards of service.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a luxury hotel or high-end bar environment, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
  • Extensive knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits, with a passion for innovation and creativity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong administrative and operational skills, with experience in managing inventory and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.
