Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled DT SEN Teacher to join our specialist school in Southwark. As a seasoned educator, you will have a strong background in Design and Technology and experience working with students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality DT lessons to students with SEN, focusing on practical skills and creativity.
  • Collaborate with the SENCo and support staff to develop IEPs and assess student progress.
  • Develop a safe and inclusive learning environment using specialized equipment and resources when needed.

Requirements:

  • QTS with a specialism in Design and Technology.
  • Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with sensory or physical disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of the DT curriculum and practical teaching methods.
  • A clear DBS check.
