The Gainsborough Academy in Lincolnshire is seeking a highly experienced and qualified Teacher of Modern Languages to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students and inspiring them to develop a love for language learning.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging MFL lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. You will also work closely with colleagues to create a multicultural classroom environment that celebrates diversity and promotes intercultural understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Design: Develop and implement a comprehensive MFL curriculum that meets the needs of all students
  • Lesson Delivery: Plan and deliver dynamic MFL lessons that immerse students in the language and culture of target countries
  • Assessment and Progression: Regularly assess student progress and proficiency in the target language
  • Collaboration and Professional Development: Work collaboratively with colleagues to integrate language learning across the curriculum and engage in continuous professional growth and development
  • Community Engagement: Engage with parents and the wider community to promote language learning and cultural exchange

About the Role:

This is a full-time permanent position, offering a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (MPS/UPS + Recruitment and Retention Allowance), depending on experience. You will work in a supportive and collaborative environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
