NEC Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced NEC Supervisor to oversee the execution of design and construction projects, ensuring quality and compliance throughout every stage. This role requires a deep understanding of NEC4 contracts and excellent communication skills to manage project scope, analyze compensation events, and provide dispute advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Scope Understanding: Collaborate with the project team to define project scope, attend key meetings, and ensure that the contractor meets the scope and quality standards.
  
• Contract Communications: Manage NEC4 communications, respond to queries, and meet deadlines.
  
• Support the PM & QS: Assist in analyzing compensation events, providing dispute advice, and ensuring that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  
• Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and report on site activities.
  
• Reporting: Produce weekly site reports, maintain accurate records of site activities, and provide regular updates to the project team.
  
• Defect Management: Monitor, report, and issue notices on defects, ensuring that they are corrected properly and do not impact the project timeline.
  
• Testing & Commissioning: Witness testing activities, ensure that quality processes and audits are followed, and verify that the project meets the required standards.
  

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in construction project management, experience in regulated industries, and a deep understanding of NEC3/4 contracts. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative and team-oriented attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
