Job Description: As a Regional Health and Safety Advisor with Anderselite, you will play a crucial role in supporting the provision of health, safety, and wellbeing within our business, under the direction of the HSEQ Manager. Your responsibilities will include:
  • SUPPORTING THE COMMUNICATION AND PROMOTION OF HEALTH AND SAFETY INITIATIVES
  • PROMOTING THE VALUE OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AT A LOCAL LEVEL
  • PROVIDING CONSISTENT AND ACCURATE HSEQ ADVICE
  • PROVIDING SUPPORT ON HSEQ ISSUES/PROBLEMS
  • CONTRIBUTING TO GENERAL COMMUNICATIONS AT A LOCAL LEVEL
  • PRODUCING AND COMMUNICATING HSEQ ALERTS FOLLOWING INCIDENTS AND POOR-QUALITY STANDARDS TO PROMOTE LEARNING AND PREVENTION AND CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT
  • UNDERTAKING TIMELY INVESTIGATIONS
  • KEEPING LOCAL AND CORPORATE MANAGEMENT INFORMED ON THE STATUS
  • IDENTIFYING ROOT CAUSES
  • PRODUCING SAFETY ALERTS AS ABOVE
  • MONITORING, VERIFYING & REPORTING HSEQ STATISTICS FOR REGIONS ON A MONTHLY BASIS AS DIRECTED.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for an individual with extensive HSEQ experience within a civil engineering environment, a NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent as a minimum, and excellent analytical skills to interpret detailed information and regulations. Additionally, you should have high standard of written English, good communication skills, including a professional telephone manner, and people skills – ability to liaise with staff/operatives of all levels.
