About the Role

The primary objective of this position is to plan and execute the deployment of instrumentation on explosive and ballistic trials, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of specialist instrumentation equipment. Your expertise will be essential in resolving data collection and analysis issues, instrumentation errors, or equipment faults.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the deployment of instrumentation on explosive and ballistic trials
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot specialist instrumentation equipment
  • Resolve data collection and analysis issues, instrumentation errors, or equipment faults
  • Provide advice and practical assistance to the Trials Conducting Officer
  • Coordinate and assist with health and safety compliance across the site

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong technical background, with a recognized qualification in a relevant subject, such as an HND or Degree. You will also need to have substantial technical expertise in data capture, with a developed understanding of scientific and technical theory. Excellent technical problem-solving, supervisory, planning, and organizing skills are essential.
