About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team at Fife College. As an Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the Team Leader and other Learning Centre staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate records and databases, including the REMS system, to ensure up-to-date information on student details and attendance.
• Prepare and generate various documentation and reports as required by the Team Leader and other staff members.
• Attend meetings, take minutes, and follow up on agreed actions to completion.
Qualifications and Experience
- Essential:
- Educated to NC/SVQ Level 2 or equivalent (SCQF Level 5)
- Proven experience of working in a busy office environment.
- Desirable:
- Knowledge and experience of working in a Prison context.
Skills and Attributes
- Essential:
- Effective communication skills, enthusiasm for the task, a high degree of flexibility, and the ability to use own initiative.
- Excellent IT skills, including word processing, database management, and spreadsheet.
- Desirable:
- Knowledge of presentation and publishing software.
Working Environment
The successful candidate will work in a challenging environment, providing administrative support to the Team Leader and other staff members. You will be required to maintain accurate records, prepare documentation, and attend meetings.
