Biology Curriculum Development Specialist

Teaching Personnel is partnering with a Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in North Liverpool to recruit a dedicated KS5 Biology Leader Teacher.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious educator to lead the development of the A-Level Biology curriculum, motivate students, and foster academic excellence in a supportive environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering engaging KS5 Biology lessons, overseeing the department's provision, and monitoring student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative resources and share best practices.
- Inspire students to achieve their full potential and develop a passion for Biology.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong background in teaching Biology at A-Level with proven success.
- Experience in leading or managing curriculum development is desirable.
Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
