Nursery Practitioner Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team at a respected nursery in Wavertree. As a valued member, you will play a crucial role in creating an enriching atmosphere for the children, supporting their early learning journey.

About Us:

  • We are a well-established nursery providing a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years.
  • Our focus is on delivering high-quality care and early education to support each child's development and well-being.

Your Role:

  • You will work alongside experienced staff to plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, assisting with personal care needs and supporting mealtimes.
  • Foster a positive and caring environment, ensuring a safe and hygienic setting at all times.
  • SUPPORT CHILDREN'S EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING AND PROVIDE COMFORT WHEN NEEDED.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a stimulating and welcoming learning space.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and deliver activities following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  2. Monitor and document children's progress and development.
  3. Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
  4. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment at all times.
  5. Support children's emotional well-being and provide comfort when needed.
  6. Collaborate with the team to create a stimulating and welcoming learning space.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood development is required.
