A vibrant Secondary School in Plymouth is looking for a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join their team. This long-term position offers the chance to make a positive impact on students in a forward-thinking educational environment.

Role Overview:

  • Deliver engaging Mathematics lessons to students of various year groups.
  • Create and implement comprehensive lesson plans based on the UK Mathematics curriculum.
  • Assess student progress and offer feedback to support academic growth.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere to boost student confidence in Maths.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance teaching strategies within the Maths department.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must have QTS or equivalent certification.
  • Degree in Mathematics or related field.
  • Prior experience teaching Maths at the Secondary School level.
  • Deep understanding of the Mathematics curriculum and effective teaching methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to inspire students of all levels.
  • Desirable experience working with students with special educational needs.
