Dynamic Numeracy Educator Role
Location: Plymouth
Type: Full-time, Long-term
A lively Secondary School in Plymouth is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Numeracy Educator to become part of their faculty. This long-term role provides an opportunity to positively influence students within a progressive educational setting.
Position Summary:
- Facilitate stimulating Mathematics classes for students across different year levels.
- Design and execute detailed lesson plans aligned with the UK Mathematics syllabus.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to foster academic development.
- Encourage a supportive and inclusive educational environment to enhance student confidence in Mathematics.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching methodologies within the Mathematics department.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Possession of QTS or an equivalent qualification.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
- Previous experience instructing Mathematics at the Secondary School level.
- Thorough knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum and effective pedagogical strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate students of varying abilities.
- Preferred experience in supporting students with special educational needs.
