About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at King's School and Nursery in Plymouth. As a key member of our Early Years team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to our young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development
  • Designing and implementing engaging play activities that cater to the needs of children aged 8 months to 5 years
  • Supporting the learning and care of children, including maintaining accurate records of progress
  • Building strong relationships with parents and carers, and providing support to other nursery staff

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Care
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable)
  • Experience working in an Early Years setting
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
  • Excellent ICT, numeracy, and literacy skills
