Job Title: KS2 Primary Teacher Part-Time

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our team in a thriving and welcoming school located in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This part-time role is ideal for a teacher with expertise in Key Stage 2 (KS2) who is looking to make a positive impact on students' learning in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for KS2. They will create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners, assess, monitor, and report on student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver an engaging curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess and report on student progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver the curriculum
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods for primary education
  • Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Excellent classroom management and the ability to engage and motivate pupils
