Job Title: Adult Specialist Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our team, specializing in supporting pregnant women living with obesity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both prenatal nutrition and the complexities of obesity management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one Dietetic clinics and group sessions to support pregnant women with obesity.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to promote healthy pregnancy and weight management.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist services for patients living with maternal obesity.
  • Lead on the development and use of evidence-based principles in a patient-centered approach.
Requirements:
  • BSc Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Post-registration training or experience in specialist area.
  • Basic motivational interviewing or behavior change training.
Person Specification:
  • Relevant post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
  • Demonstrates up-to-date and advanced knowledge and expertise in weight management and maternal obesity.
  • Experience of giving presentations and teaching sessions to groups in various settings.
  • Evidence and experience of leadership skills.
  • Evidence and experience of student training.
