The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and delivery of projects from inception through to handover, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement project main works programmes, ensuring health and safety policies and construction phase plans are in place before work commences on site.
  • Provide leadership and support to the site team, helping to develop and grow individuals within the team.
  • To comply with the company's Quality Procedure and Manual.
  • Effectively manage all sub-contractors and supply chain partners.
  • To ensure best practices and quality are maintained throughout the project.
  • Be proactive in identifying and resolving problems that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure the project runs smoothly, adhering to programme and budget requirements.
  • Work closely with the design team as required, maintaining open communication channels.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and their representatives.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing issues promptly as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering projects over £10m at Site Manager level for Main Contractors.
  • Previous experience of delivering city centre apartments or other multi-occupancy projects as the Site Lead.
  • Strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Commercial awareness and a solid understanding of construction techniques, methodologies, and processes.
