About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Healthcare Trainer for Patient Handling and Safety at Cardiff & Vale University Health Board. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of our training programs and ensure that our staff receive the necessary training to perform their roles safely.

Main Duties
  1. Design and deliver training programs on manual handling, patient moving, and related topics.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop training materials and resources.
  3. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
Essential Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare, education) and relevant teaching experience.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with responsibility for patient handling and safety.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards in the UK.
