Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales - Non-Mechanical Plant & Equipment to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling the hire and sale of non-mechanical plant and equipment to civil engineering companies, main contractors, sub-contractors, events managers, end-users, and distributors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Selling non-mechanical plant and equipment, including temporary access, ground protection, specialist construction products, trench covers, ground reinforcement & stabilization, site security & traffic management
  • Dealing with a high volume of incoming enquiries via telephone and email
  • Raising quotes for customers and following up in a prompt manner
  • Liaising internally to check equipment stock levels to ensure customer availability
  • Coordinating drivers to ensure equipment is delivered and collected from customers efficiently
Requirements
  • Must have telephone experience and be comfortable talking with customers
  • Ideally will have some sales experience, but we also consider roles such as sales support, customer service
  • Ideally will have plant/equipment hire or wider construction experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic, and determined
  • A keen attention to detail
  • Driving license
  • IT literate (Office, CRM systems)
