Job Description

We are delighted to be working with a leading global manufacturing company based in the region who are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team of 4.

The Maintenance Engineer will manage day-to-day issues within the department to resolve maintenance concerns and breakdowns.

Duties:

  • Troubleshooting and solving where possible machine, robot, and site breakdowns.
  • Ensure maintenance records are kept up to date.
  • Liaise with suppliers where external support is required to maintain site or machines.
  • Control maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.
  • Continuously review the maintenance plan for optimal usage of labour and reduce machine down time costs.
  • Ensure all statutory inspections, testing, and certification is undertaken on time and adequate records are maintained.

Work Arrangements:

  • This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30, including the opportunity of overtime as and when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A high level of technical expertise of modern Injection Moulding Machinery together with a qualification in either Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
