Job Title: Civil Engineer Cramlington

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled civil engineer to oversee the design and construction elements of a new warehouse and packing hall project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety and environmental standards are met, collaborating with professionals and stakeholders, and reporting to the Client Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Design:
    1. Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to inform project planning.
    2. Review and analyze detailed designs, plans, and specifications using CAD software.
    3. Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
  2. Construction:
    1. Ensure construction work is performed according to design specifications and safety standards.
    2. Regularly inspect project sites to monitor progress and compliance.
  3. Technical Support and Problem-Solving:
    1. Provide technical advice and solutions to on-site issues as needed.
    2. Implement changes to projects correctly and troubleshoot design and construction problems.
  4. Compliance and Standards:
    1. Ensure all projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
    2. Review and obtain necessary documentation and permits.
    3. Participate in risk assessments and implement health and safety measures.
