About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Site Management Trainee. As a Trainee Assistant Site Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Site Manager in the management of site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, quality standards, and customer care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with company health and safety standards, NHBC standards, building regulations, and overall quality standards on site at all times.
  • Reporting: Report any activities or actions to the Site Manager that could affect health and safety, quality, customer care, or cost.
  • Liaising: Liaise with internal departments, external suppliers, and partners to ensure the build programme is achieved.
  • Material Management: Monitor material levels on site to ensure the minimum amount of stock, but enough to ensure the site programme is met and all labour is efficiently employed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all plots are built to the highest standard of quality, and contribute to a high standard of overall presentation on site.
  • Defect Reporting: Carry out some reporting of defects on IFix.
  • Professional Conduct: Show a good behavioural example in all aspects of health and safety, organisation, conduct, quality of work, and professionalism.

  • Leadership: Show signs of leadership and developing assertive skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to prioritise tasks, demonstrating a good problem-solving ability.
  • Learning: Appetite for learning and gaining experiences in all areas of site management and customer care.
