Role Overview: Junior Site Management Trainee

As a Junior Site Management Trainee, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of construction projects. Your duties will encompass overseeing material acquisition, supervising extensive projects, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, and delivering exceptional client service. With numerous ongoing developments across various regions, each project offers distinct challenges, including the transformation of previously developed sites and the renovation of existing buildings.

We are in search of individuals who can bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions while showcasing strong business insight in managing teams, budgets, and expenditures. Our construction teams have consistently been acknowledged for their excellence, with Site Managers receiving numerous accolades for their outstanding performance.

Under the mentorship of the Site Manager, you will assist in various site management functions, concentrating on health and safety, project quality, customer satisfaction, and financial oversight. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols, industry regulations, and quality benchmarks
  • Identifying and reporting any concerns that may affect health and safety, quality, customer service, or financial performance to the Site Manager
  • Collaborating with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure project timelines are met
  • Monitoring material availability on-site to optimize inventory while ensuring effective labor use
  • Maintaining high standards of construction quality and overall site appearance
  • Documenting defects using the designated reporting platform
  • Demonstrating best practices in health and safety, organization, work quality, and professionalism
