Office Manager and Executive Assistant

Newsweek is a global media organization with a rich history of delivering high-quality content to its audience. We are seeking an experienced Office Manager and Executive Assistant to join our team in London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the office and providing comprehensive administrative support to our senior executives. This includes welcoming guests, arranging office activities, and maintaining conference rooms and office spaces.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience as an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, or similar role, and will be proficient in MS Office. They will also be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with staff and external guests.

Key Responsibilities:- Welcome guests to the office and ensure they are well taken care of.
- Arrange office activities and get-togethers for staff.
- Maintain conference rooms and office spaces, ensuring they are presentable and well-organized.
- Liaise with building management, security, electricians, and maintenance for any office-related issues.
- Book travel, accommodation, restaurants, and other client entertainment activities as requested.
- Meet and greet visitors, ensuring they are well taken care of.
- Liaise with all office staff, including those based in the US and other locations.
- Screen phone calls and handle general inquiries and requests.
- Provide cover on reception as needed.
- Handle any other ad-hoc requests from senior executives.
- Relevant experience as an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with staff and external guests.
